Iron filter for the filtration of dissolved iron in water and prevents brown deposits on sanitary ceramics. This iron water filter reduces the iron content in the water and filters out pollutants as well as fine particles.

This works through the self-cleaning/backwash pre-filter with 90 microns and with a final water treatment by the iron filter and the CB activated carbon block.

The iron filter cartridge reduces the iron concentration, the hydrogen sulfide content, the metallic taste and odor of the water, and helps to normalize the pH value of the water. The filter uses hydrogen sulfide to oxidize Fe² to Fe³.

The CB carbon block activated carbon filter is made of pressed activated carbon and filters out contaminants from the water such as chlorine, organic pollutants, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, insecticides, oils and flavors, taste impairments, odor impairments, fine particles (rust, lime flakes, sand, scales) and suspended solids.



Reduction of:

Iron can be used up to a maximum value of 4.0 mg/l
Mangan can be used up to a maximum value of 0.1 mg/l
Sulfite up to 0.12 mg/l
Oxide up to 7.0mg/l
Chloride up to 6.8 mg/l
Silicates up to 45.0 mg/l

The filter cleans the water to 10 microns.

The 3-stage water treatment system is designed to save space and is easy to install.

The HYDRA TRIO well water filter features a drainage funnel/backflow protection to safeguard the drinking water supply.

The HYDRA TRIO is used for the filtration and treatment of drinking water, well water, household water, and wastewater, serving to protect fittings, pumps, water tanks, and other technical systems as well as pipelines.

1 x QA PRL 10 BIG SX TS - Iron filter cartridge

Lifespan: approx. 6 months or approx. 3,000 liters (depending on the iron (max. 4 mg/l) and manganese levels (max. 0.1 mg/l) and the flow rate)

Note: For the QA PRL 10 BIG SX TS De-icing Filters It may happen that granulate dust initially escapes, which is caused by transportation. Let the water run until it is clear. Please also observe the maximum values. If necessary, conduct a water analysis before installing the filter to know the iron content of the water.
