Coconut shell activated carbon has an exceptionally high micropore densitythat means it can absorb more pollutants per gram. Activated carbon blocks the made from 100% coconut shells, are of high quality higher quality than conventional activated carbon blocks from mass production in China. 

Carbon blocks made from coconut shells are free from chemical additives or binders. Cheap activated carbon blocks from China contain additives and bindersthat could have problematic effects on their drinking water.

Through the high adsorption capacity is coconut shell activated carbon more effective in removing chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides, organic chemicals and unpleasant odors.
