Accessibility Statement - "Access for All" Accessibility

Accessibility Statement for the Accessibly App

Accessibly App is committed to making websites accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We continuously improve the service we provide through our app to meet higher accessibility standards and guidelines and to improve the browsing experience for everyone.

Compliance status

The app uses the requirements defined in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three compliance levels: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Accessibly App follows the best guidelines and is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Technical information

Accessibly App is an app supported in Shopify and Wordpress environments. The app is based on the following technologies:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • NodeJS
  • MongoDB

Accessibly App features

When Accessibly App is installed on a site, the website can be adjusted with keyboard navigation using the Tab key (WCAG 2.1/2.1.1). Also, see the list of all features and tools provided by Accessibly App for a better website experience:

Zoom | WCAG 2.1 / 1.4.4

This feature allows users to increase the text size to three times the original text to improve readability.

Larger cursor

Makes the cursor larger and more noticeable. Increases its size for better browsing on the site.

Invert colors

Inverts the colors of the website content. For people with limited vision, the high contrast helps make the site easier to read.

Optimize contrast | WCAG 2.1 / 1.4.6

This feature allows users to manually choose between two options: increase the website contrast or decrease it.

Optimize brightness | WCAG 2.1 / 1.4.6

This feature allows users to adjust the brightness on the site. The content can be made lighter or darker.

Grayscale | WCAG 2.1 / 1.4.6

Users can enable grayscale so the website content is displayed only in shades of gray. This benefits people with visual impairments.

Reading line

Add an assistive reading line to the site.

Readable fonts

Convert the fonts available on the site to one of the most readable fonts: Helvetica.

Alt text and images

Ability to read alt text from images. From now on, our tool has added a feature that generates alt descriptions for images without them using Google Vision AI. If you have not written these image descriptions manually yourself, this makes browsing your site much easier for visually impaired people.

Tooltips | WCAG 2.1 / 2.5.3

Add labels to images that include a written description of the image.

Highlight links

Highlight links to make them stand out.

Hide images

Hide images on the website. This improves the website's readability for people with visual impairments.

Read page aloud

A feature that lets a voice read the text on your website aloud to visitors.
