Notice of registration pursuant to Section 9 of the Packaging Act

Bongartz GmbH is registered as of 01.01.2019 as a manufacturer of packaging subject to system participation obligations with the registration data listed in the annex under Registration number DE5696621302541 registered.

As a manufacturer of packaging subject to system participation obligations, Bongartz GmbH submitted an application for registration to the Stiftung Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (Central Agency) on 01.01.2019 with the details listed in the annex.

In its application, the manufacturer declared that it fulfills its take-back obligations by participating in one or more systems or through one or more industry solutions, Section 9 paragraph 2 number 5 of the Act on the Placing on the Market, Take-Back and High-Quality Recycling of Packaging (Packaging Act - VerpackG).

The Central Agency registers Bongartz GmbH as a manufacturer of packaging subject to system participation obligations in accordance with the application, Section 9 paragraph 1 sentence 1, paragraph 2, paragraph 3 sentences 1 and 2 VerpackG.

The Packaging Act aims to minimize the impact of packaging waste on the environment as much as possible.

The law is intended to regulate the behavior of obligated parties in such a way that packaging waste is primarily prevented and sent for preparation for reuse or recycling.

The law requires manufacturers and distributors of packaging to join the Central Packaging Register Agency, which independently assumes responsibility for organizing, implementing, and monitoring compliance with the provisions of the law.
