Notice of registration pursuant to Section 9 of the Packaging Act

Bongartz GmbH is registered from 01.01.2019 as a producer of packaging subject to system participation, with the registration data listed in the appendix, under Registration number DE5696621302541 registered.

As a producer of packaging subject to system participation, Bongartz GmbH submitted an application for registration to the Foundation Central Agency Packaging Register (Central Agency) on 01.01.2019 with the information listed in the appendix.

In its application, the producer declared that it fulfills its take-back obligations through participation in one or more systems or through one or more industry solutions, Section 9 paragraph 2 number 5 of the Act on Placing on the Market, Taking Back and High-Quality Recycling of Packaging (Packaging Act - VerpackG).

The Central Agency registers Bongartz GmbH as a producer of packaging subject to system participation as applied for, Section 9 paragraph 1 sentence 1, paragraph 2, paragraph 3 sentences 1 and 2 VerpackG.

The Packaging Act aims to minimize the impact of packaging waste on the environment as much as possible.

The law is intended to regulate the conduct of those obligated in such a way that packaging waste is primarily avoided and directed to preparation for reuse or recycling.

The law obliges manufacturers and distributors of packaging to join the Central Agency Packaging Register, which independently assumes responsibility for the organization, implementation, and monitoring of the requirements of the law.
