Der DP 10 Duo PFEX FA CA 5 mcr Combination Filter is a powerful Iron filter, filled with two high-quality filter media, for effective Reduction of the iron concentration in the water. The PFEX iron filter cartridge reduces iron, manganese, and other water-polluting substances reliably, thereby ensuring clearer, odorless and tasteless water.

Effective iron and hydrogen sulfide reduction

The PFEX filter cartridge not only reduces the Iron concentration, but also the H2S content, thereby metallic taste and unpleasant odors be significantly reduced.
This dissolves the substance in the water ferrous iron (Fe²⁺) zu trivalent iron (Fe³⁺) oxidized and then securely bound in the filter medium. The PFEX filter specifically uses this for Hydrogen sulfide as an oxidation aid.

Reduction of the following substances:

• Iron – up to max. 4,0 mg/l

• Manganese – up to max. 0,1 mg/l

• Sulfite – until 0,9 mg/l

• Oxides – until 4,0 mg/l
