The Hero Adapter Kit was developed to turn the DP Big Filter into a true bag filter.

This kit consists of a mesh basket designed to hold the Hero filter bag, and is perfectly compatible with the DP Big Mono housing. After inserting the bag, the adapter is closed with a special bayonet lock.

With the Hero adapter kit, the filter bag can be changed easily, quickly and cleanly. Thanks to the large capacity of the filter bag, maintenance intervals are extended, reducing costs and the amount of waste generated. No special tools are required for maintenance: when the bag needs to be changed, the basket can be opened, the bag removed, and easily replaced.

The way the filtration system works means that sediment is retained inside the bag, so that the DP Big Mono housing stays clean and the water inside remains filtered, which has the advantage of minimizing water consumption. The bag filter proves to be an effective and sustainable solution: maximum results with minimum waste.

The Hero Adapter Kit is available in two different heights, 10" and 20", and, in addition to the basket, consists of two clips that must be attached to the DP Big filter head (read the instructions carefully !).

Uses of the Hero bag filter

The Hero bag filtration system by Atlas Filtri can be used efficiently in the home and in commercial/industrial applications to filter sediment in well water, tap water, rainwater, and in general in all situations where it is necessary to effectively retain dirt, mud, clay, and silt according to the bag's pore size: 50 microns.

In addition to use in private and household settings, Hero is also suitable for commercial use as part of fixed water distribution systems, in mining, and as an integral component of large and complex treatment and filtration systems.
