The powerful 3-stage filter housing provides reliable and long-lasting water treatment. The system combines state-of-the-art filtration technologies for clean, odor- and taste-neutral water – ideal for drinking, well, and household water applications.

The iron filter cartridge reduces iron concentration, hydrogen sulfide content, the metallic taste and odor of the water, and helps normalize the water's pH. The filter does this by oxidizing hydrogen sulfide and converting Fe² to Fe³.

The activated carbon filter is made from compressed activated carbon and removes contaminants from the water such as chlorine, organic pollutants, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, insecticides, oils and flavors, taste impairments, odor impairments, fine particles and suspended solids.

Water with excessive iron content is a primary cause of wear on industrial equipment and household appliances due to deposits of so-called "scale". Iron salts damage textiles washed in such water and can irritate the skin. Furthermore, high iron content in the water leads to the formation of rust stains on sanitary fixtures.

The innovative backwash system with spring-mounted filter cartridge. When the flush valve is opened, the pressure drop pulls the cartridge downward and cleans it internally. A minimum pressure of 1.8 bar is required to ensure backwashing.

Includes hose connector and drain funnel with backflow protection according to UNI EN 1717-11/2002

The filter cleans the water to 10 microns.

The 3-stage water treatment system is designed to be very space-saving and easy to install.

The HYDRA TRIO well water filter features a drain funnel/backflow protection to protect the drinking water supply.

The HYDRA TRIO is used for filtration and treatment of drinking water, well water, household water and wastewater; it protects fittings, pumps, water tanks and other technical systems as well as pipelines.

Lifespan: approx. 6 months or approx. 18,000 ltr. (depending on iron (max. 4 mg/l) and manganese values (max. 0.1 mg/l) and flow rate)

Note: With the QA PRL 20 BIG SX TS iron removal filters it may occur that granular dust initially escapes due to transport. Let the water run until it is clear. Also observe the maximum values. If necessary, perform a water analysis before installing the filter to determine the water's iron content.
