The powerful 3-stage filter housing ensures reliable, long-lasting water treatment. The system combines state-of-the-art filter technologies for clean, odorless, and tasteless water – ideal for drinking water, well water, and household water applications.

The iron filter cartridge reduces the iron concentration, hydrogen sulfide content, and metallic taste and odor of the water, and helps normalize the water's pH value. The filter does this by oxidizing hydrogen sulfide, converting Fe² to Fe³.

The activated carbon filter is made of pressed activated carbon and filters contaminants from the water such as chlorine, organic pollutants, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, insecticides, oils and aromas, taste impairments, odor impairments, fine particles, and suspended matter.

Water with too high an iron content is the main cause of wear in industrial systems and household appliances due to deposits of so-called "boiler scale". Iron salts damage textiles washed in such water and irritate the skin. In addition, excessive iron content in the water leads to the formation of rust stains on sanitary fixtures.

This innovative backwash system with spring-loaded filter cartridge. When the flush valve is opened, the pressure drop pulls the cartridge downward and cleans it on the inside as well. A minimum pressure of 1.8 bar is required to ensure backwashing.

The filter cleans the water to 10 microns.

The 3-stage water treatment system is designed to save space and is easy to install.

The HYDRA TRIO well water filter features a drain funnel/backflow protection to protect the drinking water supply.

The HYDRA TRIO is used for filtration and treatment of drinking water, well water, household water, and wastewater; it protects fittings, pumps, water tanks, and other technical systems as well as the pipework.

1 x QA PRL 20 BIG SX TS - Iron filter cartridge
reduces the iron concentration, hydrogen sulfide content, metallic taste, and odor of the water, and helps normalize the water pH value.
Service life: approx. 3-6 months  (depending on iron levels (max. 4 mg/l) and manganese levels (max. 0.1 mg/l) and the flow rate)

Note: With the QA PRL 20 BIG SX TS deironing filters it may happen that granulate dust, caused by transport, is released at first. Let the water run until it is clear. Please also note the maximum values. If necessary, carry out a water analysis before installing the filter to determine the iron content of the water.
