The powerful 3-stage filter housing ensures reliable and long-lasting water treatment. The system combines state-of-the-art filtration technologies for clean, odourless, tasteless water – ideal for drinking water, well water, and household water applications.

The iron filter cartridge reduces iron concentration, hydrogen sulfide content, and the metallic taste and smell of the water, and helps normalize the water's pH value. To do this, the filter uses hydrogen sulfide, oxidizing Fe² to Fe³.

The activated carbon filter is made of compressed activated carbon and filters pollutants from the water such as chlorine, organic contaminants, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, insecticides, oils and aromas, taste impairment, odour impairment, fine particles, and suspended matter.

Water with too high an iron content is, due to the deposits of so-called "boiler scale," the main cause of wear in industrial systems and household appliances. Iron salts damage textiles washed in such water and irritate the skin. In addition, too high an iron content in the water leads to the formation of rust stains on sanitary fixtures.

This innovative backwash system with spring-loaded filter cartridge. When the flush valve is opened, the pressure drop pulls the cartridge downward and cleans it from the inside as well. A minimum pressure of 1.8 bar is required to ensure backwashing.

Includes hose connector and drain funnel with backflow protection according to UNI EN 1717-11/2002

The filter cleans the water to 10 microns.

The 3-stage water treatment system is designed to save space and is easy to install.

The HYDRA TRIO well water filter features a drain funnel/backflow protection to protect the drinking water supply.

The HYDRA TRIO is used for filtering and treating drinking water, well water, household water, and dirty water; it serves to protect fittings, pumps, water tanks, and other technical systems as well as pipelines.

1 x QA PRL 20 BIG SX TS - iron filter cartridge

Service life: approx. 3-6 months  (depending on iron (max. 4 mg/l) and manganese values (max. 0.1 mg/l) and the flow rate)

Note: With the QA PRL 20 BIG SX TS iron removal filters there may initially be some granulate dust discharged, which is created during transport. Let the water run until it becomes clear. Please also observe the maximum values. If necessary, carry out a water analysis before installing the filter to determine the iron content of the water.
