The powerful 3-stage filter housing ensures reliable and long-lasting water treatment. The system combines state-of-the-art filter technologies for clean water that is odor- and taste-neutral – ideal for drinking water, well water, and household water applications.

The iron filter cartridge reduces the iron concentration, hydrogen sulfide content, and the metallic taste and odor of the water, and helps normalize the water's pH value. To do this, the filter oxidizes hydrogen sulfide, converting Fe² to Fe³.

The activated carbon filter consists of compressed activated carbon and filters contaminants from the water such as chlorine, organic pollutants, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, insecticides, oils and flavors, taste impairments, odor impairments, fine particles, and suspended solids.

Water with too high an iron content is the main cause of wear in industrial systems and household appliances due to deposits of so-called "scale". Iron salts damage textiles washed in such water and irritate the skin. Furthermore, excessive iron content in the water leads to rust stains on sanitary fittings.

The innovative backwash system with spring-loaded filter cartridge. When the flushing valve is opened, the pressure drop pulls the cartridge downward, cleaning it from the inside as well. A minimum pressure of 1.8 bar is required to ensure backwashing.

Service life: approx. 6 months or approx. 3,000 ltr. (depending on the iron (max. 4 mg/l) and manganese levels (max. 0.1 mg/l) and the flow rate)

Note: With PFEX iron removal filters, it may happen that granulate dust initially comes out, which is created during transport. Let the water run until it is clear. Please also observe the maximum values. If necessary, carry out a water analysis before installing the filter to determine the iron content of the water.
