The powerful 3-stage filter housing ensures reliable and long-lasting water treatment. The system combines state-of-the-art filtration technologies for clean, odorless, and tasteless water – ideal for drinking water, well water, and household water applications.

The iron filter cartridge reduces the iron concentration, hydrogen sulfide content, metallic taste, and odor of the water and helps normalize the water's pH value. The filter uses hydrogen sulfide to oxidize Fe² to Fe³.

The activated carbon filter is made of compressed activated carbon and filters pollutants from the water such as chlorine, organic contaminants, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, insecticides, oils and flavors, taste impairments, odor impairments, fine particles, and suspended solids.

Water with a high iron content is the main cause of wear in industrial plants and household appliances due to deposits of so-called "limescale". Iron salts damage textiles washed in such water and irritate the skin. In addition, an excessively high iron content in the water leads to rust stains on sanitary fittings.

This innovative backwash system with spring-loaded filter cartridge. When the flush valve is opened, the drop in pressure pulls the cartridge downward, cleaning the inside as well. A minimum pressure of 1.8 bar is required to ensure backwashing.

Note: With PFEX deironing filters, it may happen that granulate dust is initially released due to transport. Let the water run until it is clear. Please also observe the maximum values. If necessary, carry out a water analysis before installing the filter to determine the iron content of the water.
