The Pb SD 1 Micron CARBON-Block is produced in an "environmentally friendly" manner and filters very fine particles from drinking water, among other things. Heavy metal reduction (Pb) of nickel, cadmium, Zinc and Lead.

Heavy metal reduction (Pb), reduces soluble heavy metal content. Fine particle filtration is used to capture lead-containing particles.

Coconut shell activated carbon has an exceptionally high micropore density, which means that it can absorb more pollutants per gram. Activated carbon blocks die made from 100% coconut shells are of higher quality than conventional activated carbon blocks from mass production in China. 

Carbon blocks made from coconut shells are free of chemical additives or binders. Cheap activated carbon blocks from China contain additives and binders, which could have a problematic impact on their drinking water.
