The Pb SD 1 Micron CARBON block is "environmentally friendly" manufactured and filters very fine particles from drinking water, including heavy metal reduction (Pb) of nickel, cadmium, zinc and lead.

The concentrations of heavy metals are mostly in the Pb range . In water, these occur as cations such as: Ni ²⁺ , Cd ²⁺ , Zn ²⁺ and Pb ²⁺

The filter is used for drinking water filtration and is also used in treatment plants. It has a high flow rate and produces very clean drinking water.

The Pb SD 1 Micron CARBON block is a powerful, multifunctional filter cartridge for private and commercial water treatment systems. Heavy metal reduction (Pb), reduces soluble heavy metal content . The fine particle filtration is used to capture lead-containing particles.
