OSMOSIS SYSTEMS | REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEMS OSMOSIS SYSTEM
Osmosis system ensures clean and pollutant-free water
Drinking water in Germany is considered one of the safest and most controlled foods. Nevertheless, the water you get from the tap contains small amounts of pollutants and impurities. If you want to further treat your drinking water, it is recommended to purchase an osmosis system. The osmosis system can filter out pollutants contained in the drinking water, so you can use it without any concerns. This is a special water filter that is based on the principle of reverse osmosis.
What is the difference between osmosis and reverse osmosis?
The principle of osmosis is firmly anchored in nature. It is a natural process that ensures that the various substances contained in water are evenly distributed. In reverse osmosis, which is used for the osmosis system, this process is reversed. The systems have a particularly fine membrane for this purpose. Due to the minimal pores, this membrane only allows water molecules to pass through without restrictions. Usually, a pre-filter is also used in the osmosis system. This pre-filter is significantly coarser and has one task: It is supposed to remove the coarse impurities still present in the tap water.
What are the advantages of an osmosis system?
The osmosis system is gaining more and more attention in private households. Not without reason - after all, the highly modern systems are not only easy to use and extremely reliable, but they also ensure that many concerning substances are automatically removed from the water. Thus, not only pollutants and impurities have no chance, but also microplastics, medications, and pesticides. Lime is also removed from the water by the system. This naturally affects the taste, which is neutralized by the filtration. Due to the lower lime content, the water becomes softer, so that tea and coffee also taste different. Another aspect that is a clear advantage of the osmosis system is the reduced cleaning effort. Lime causes annoying stains, especially on smooth surfaces like tiles and fittings. By cleaning in an osmosis system, these stains can be specifically prevented.
