The DP 10 Duo PFEX FA CA 5 mcr combined filter is a powerful iron filter filled with two high-quality filter media for the effective reduction of iron concentration in water. The PFEX iron filter cartridge reliably reduces iron, manganese and other water-contaminating substances, providing clearer, odor-free and neutral-tasting water.

Effective reduction of iron and hydrogen sulfide

The PFEX filter cartridge not only lowers the iron concentration but also the hydrogen sulfide content, thereby significantly reducing metallic taste and unpleasant odors.
Dissolved ferrous iron (Fe²⁺) in the water is oxidized to ferric iron (Fe³⁺) and then securely bound in the filter media. The PFEX filter specifically uses hydrogen sulfide as an oxidation aid.

Reduction of the following substances:

• Iron – up to max. 4,0 mg/l

• Manganese – up to max. 0,1 mg/l

• Sulfite – up to 0,9 mg/l

• Oxides – up to 4,0 mg/l

• Chloride – up to 4,8 mg/l

• Silicates – up to 35,0 mg/l

High-quality filter media for reliable water treatment

The water de-ironing cartridges are filled with a fine-grained granulate that specifically removes iron ions and fine particles from the water. Additionally, the filter helps to normalize the pH value and thus improves overall water quality.
