The DP 10 Trio RLA PCB PFEX 10 mcr - combination filter iron filter is an iron water filter, this iron water filter reduces the iron content in the water and filters pollutants and fine particles.

This works with two pre-filter cartridges up to 10 microns as well as water treatment by the PFEX iron filter cartridge.

The PFEX iron filter cartridge lowers the iron concentration, reduces the hydrogen sulfide content, the metallic taste and the odor of the water.

The FE² dissolved in the water is converted to FE³ and removed from the water by the PFEX filter. The PFEX filter uses hydrogen sulfide, in which Fe² is oxidized to Fe³.

Water with too high an iron content is the main cause of wear and tear on industrial equipment and household appliances due to deposits of so-called "scale". Iron salts damage textiles washed in such water and irritate the skin. Furthermore, too high an iron content in the water results in the formation of rust edges on sanitary facilities.
