The powerful 3-way filter housing ensures reliable, long-lasting water treatment. The system combines state-of-the-art filtration technologies for clean water with no odor or taste — ideal for drinking water, well water, and household water applications.

The iron filter cartridge reduces the iron concentration, hydrogen sulfide content, metallic taste and odor of the water, and helps normalize the water's pH value. To do this, the filter uses hydrogen sulfide, in which Fe² is oxidized to Fe³.

The activated carbon filter is made of compressed activated carbon and filters contaminants from the water such as chlorine, organic pollutants, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, insecticides, oils and flavors, taste impairments, odor impairments, fine particles, and suspended solids.

Water with too high an iron content is the main cause of wear in industrial systems and household appliances due to deposits of so-called "boiler scale". Iron salts damage textiles washed in such water and irritate the skin. In addition, excessively high iron content in the water causes rust stains on sanitary fixtures.

This innovative backwashing system features a spring-loaded filter cartridge. When the flush valve is opened, the pressure drop pulls the cartridge downward and cleans the inside as well. A minimum pressure of 1.8 bar is required to ensure backwashing.

Includes hose nozzle and drain funnel with backflow prevention according to UNI EN 1717-11/2002

The filter cleans the water to 10 microns.

The 3-stage water treatment system is designed to save space and is easy to install.

The HYDRA TRIO well water filter features a drain funnel/backflow prevention system to protect the drinking water supply.

The HYDRA TRIO is used for filtration and treatment of drinking water, well water, household water, and dirty water; it protects fixtures, pumps, water tanks, and other technical systems as well as the pipework.

1 x QA PRL 10 BIG SX TS - iron filter cartridge
reduces the iron concentration, hydrogen sulfide content, metallic taste, and odor of the water and helps normalize the water's pH value.
Service life: approx. 6 months or approx. 10,000 ltr. (depending on the iron (max. 4 mg/l) and manganese values (max. 0.1 mg/l) and the flow rate)

Note: With the QA PRL 10 BIG SX TS de-ironing filters it may happen that granulate dust is initially released, caused by transport. Let the water run until it runs clear. Please also observe the maximum values. If necessary, carry out a water analysis before installing the filter to determine the iron content of the water.
