The high-performance 3-stage filter housing ensures reliable, long-lasting water treatment. The system combines state-of-the-art filtration technologies for clean water with no odour or taste – ideal for drinking water, well water, and domestic water applications.

The iron filter cartridge reduces the iron concentration, hydrogen sulfide content, metallic taste, and odor of the water and helps normalize the water's pH value. It does this by using sulfur hydrogen, in which Fe² is oxidized to Fe³.

The activated carbon filter consists of compressed activated carbon and filters contaminants from the water such as chlorine, organic pollutants, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, insecticides, oils and aromas, taste impairments, odor impairments, fine particles, and suspended solids.

Water with too high an iron content is the main cause of wear in industrial systems and household appliances due to deposits of so-called "scale". Iron salts damage textiles washed in such water and irritate the skin. In addition, excessively high iron content in the water leads to rust stains on sanitary fixtures.

The innovative backwash system with spring-loaded filter cartridge. When the flush valve is opened, the pressure drop pulls the cartridge downward, cleaning it from the inside as well. A minimum pressure of 1.8 bar is required to ensure backwashing.

Includes hose connector and drain funnel with backflow prevention according to UNI EN 1717-11/2002

Oxide up to 7.0 mg/l

The filter cleans the water to 10 microns.

The 3-stage water treatment system is designed to save a lot of space and is easy to install.

The HYDRA TRIO well water filter features a drain funnel/backflow prevention device to protect the drinking water supply.

The HYDRA TRIO is used for filtration and treatment of drinking water, well water, domestic water, and wastewater, and protects fixtures, pumps, water tanks, and other technical systems as well as the pipelines.

1 x QA PRL 10 BIG SX TS - iron filter cartridge
reduces the iron concentration, hydrogen sulfide content, metallic taste, and odor of the water and helps normalize the water pH value.
Service life: approx. 6 months or approx. 10,000 ltr. (depending on iron (max. 4 mg/l) and manganese values (max. 0.1 mg/l) and flow rate)

Note: With the QA PRL 10 BIG SX TS iron removal filters it may happen that granulate dust initially comes out, caused by transport. Let the water run until it is clear. Please also observe the maximum values. If necessary, carry out a water analysis before installing the filter to determine the iron content of the water.
