The
CA-SE HF BX filter cartridge 0,15 mcr
removes fine sediments and most harmful bacteria such as E. coli, salmonella, Vibrio cholerae, Legionella, Pseudomonas, and protozoa (Giardia, Crysptosporidium).
The inner core “Ster-O-Tap®” with
hollow-fiber capillary membrane
offers ultra-filtration at 0,15 Micron
and has been tested against Brevimundimonas (Pseudomonas) diminuta.
The CARBON-BLOCK filters these contaminants out of drinking water:
- harmful bacteria > 0,15 mcr
- chlorine
- pesticides
- taste impairments
- odor impairments and fine particles
- insecticides
- solvents
- organic pollutants
- additionally, the filter removes oils and aromas
Coconut shell activated carbon has an exceptionally high micropore density, which means it can absorb more contaminants per gram. Activated carbon blocks that
are made from 100 % coconut shells are of higher quality than conventional activated carbon blocks from mass production
in China.
Carbon blocks made from coconut shells are free from chemical additives or binders. Cheap activated carbon blocks from China contain additives and binders, which could have a problematic effect on your drinking water.
Thanks to
the high adsorption capacity, coconut shell activated carbon is
more effective at removing chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides,
organic chemicals, and unpleasant odors.
