Reverse osmosis system provides clean, contaminant-free water

In Germany, drinking water is considered one of the safest and most closely monitored food products. Nevertheless, the water you get from the tap contains small amounts of contaminants and impurities. If you would like to further purify your drinking water, purchasing a reverse osmosis system is recommended. The reverse osmosis system can filter contaminants out of drinking water, so you can use it with complete peace of mind. This is a special water filter based on the principle of reverse osmosis.

What is the difference between osmosis and reverse osmosis?

The principle of osmosis is firmly rooted in nature. It refers to a natural process that ensures the various substances contained in water are distributed evenly. In reverse osmosis, which is used in a reverse osmosis system, this process is reversed. For this purpose, the systems have an especially fine membrane. Because of its tiny pores, it allows only the water molecules to pass through without restriction. In most cases, a pre-filter is also used in the reverse osmosis system. This pre-filter is much coarser and has one task: to remove the larger impurities still present in the tap water.

What are the advantages of a reverse osmosis system?

Reverse osmosis systems are also attracting more and more attention in private households. And for good reason - these ultra-modern systems are not only easy to use and extremely reliable, they also ensure that many questionable substances are automatically removed from the water. This means that not only contaminants and impurities stand no chance, but also microplastics, medicines, and pesticides. Limescale is also removed from the water by the system. This naturally affects the taste, which is neutralized by the filtration. The lower limescale content makes the water softer, which ultimately also changes the taste of tea and coffee. Another aspect that is a clear advantage of the reverse osmosis system is the reduced cleaning effort. Limescale causes annoying stains, especially on smooth surfaces such as tiles and fittings. Cleaning with a reverse osmosis system can help prevent these stains effectively.
