The  CARBON block is "environmentally friendly" manufactured. It filters very fine particles from drinking water such as e.g. Giardia and Cryptosporidium.

Giardia is a diarrheal disease caused by a single-celled organism, microscopic parasites Giardia intestinalis (also known as Giardia lamblia).
