CTO 20 SD 10 µm CARBON cartridge 20" inch activated carbon block as a drinking water filter

The carbon block activated carbon filter is made of compressed activated carbon and filters contaminants from the water such as limescale, chlorine, organic contaminants, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, oils and flavors, taste impairments, odor impairments, fine particles (limescale, rust, sand, scale) and suspended solids.

The CARBON BLOCK filters the following contaminants from drinking water:
- limescale flakes
- chlorine
- pesticides
- taste impairments
- odor impairments and fine particles
- insecticides
- solvents
- organic contaminants
- additionally the filter removes oils and flavors

Coconut shell activated carbon has an exceptionally high micropore density, which means it can adsorb more contaminants per gram. Activated carbon blocks that are made from 100% coconut shells are of higher quality than conventional activated carbon blocks from mass production in China.

Coconut shell carbon blocks are free of chemical additives or binders. Cheap activated carbon blocks from China contain additives and binders that could negatively affect your drinking water.

Due to its high adsorption capacity, coconut shell activated carbon is more effective at removing chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides, organic chemicals and unpleasant odors.

Our coconut shell activated carbon blocks not only offer better filtration performance but are also more environmentally friendly and sustainable.

Flow rate at approx. 3 bar / 450 l/h.

The filter purifies the water down to crystal-clear 10 micron.
