CTO 20 SD 10 mcr CARBON cartridge 20" inch activated carbon block as a drinking water filter

The carbon block activated carbon filter consists of compressed activated carbon and filters contaminants from the water such as limescale, chlorine, organic pollutants, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, oils and aromas, taste impairments, odor impairments, fine particles (limescale, rust, sand, flakes) and suspended matter.

The CARBON BLOCK filters the following contaminants from drinking water:
- limescale flakes
- chlorine
- pesticides
- taste impairments
- odor impairments and fine particles
- insecticides
- solvents
- organic pollutants
- the filter also removes oils and aromas

Activated carbon made from coconut shells has an exceptionally high micropore density, which means it can absorb more contaminants per gram. Activated carbon blocks that are made from 100 % coconut shells are higher in quality than conventional activated carbon blocks from mass production in China. 

Carbon blocks made from coconut shells are free from chemical additives or binders. Low-cost activated carbon blocks from China contain additives and binders that could have a problematic effect on your drinking water.

Thanks to the high adsorption capacity, coconut-shell activated carbon is more effective at removing chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides, organic chemicals, and unpleasant odors.

Our activated carbon blocks made from coconut shells not only offer better filtering properties, but are also more environmentally friendly and sustainable.

The filter cleans the water to crystal-clear 10 micron.
