The CYST SX 1 Micron CARBON Block is "environmentally friendly" manufactured. It filters very fine particles from drinking water such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium.

Giardia and Cryptosporidium are two of the most common causes of intestinal parasitic infection worldwide.

Giardia and Cryptosporidium are the most commonly occurring protozoa in water tanks, e.g. on boats, yachts, motorhomes and caravans, caravans, motorhomes, etc.

Giardia is a diarrheal disease caused by a single-celled, microscopic parasite, Giardia intestinalis (also known as Giardia lamblia). Once an animal or person is infected with Giardia intestinalis, the parasite continues to live in the intestine. Because the parasite is protected by an outer shell, it can survive outside the body and in the environment for a long period of time.
