DP 10 Duo PFEX FA CA 5 mcr - Combination filter iron filter filled with two filter media to reduce the iron concentration in the water

The PFEX Iron Filter Cartridge lowers the iron concentration, the hydrogen sulfide content, reduces the metallic taste and the odor of the water.

The Fe² dissolved in the water is converted to Fe³ and removed from the water by the PFEX filter. The PFEX filter uses hydrogen sulfide to oxidize Fe² to Fe³.

Iron (up to a max. value of 4.0 mg/l usable)
Manganese (up to a max. value of 0.1 mg/l usable)
Sulfite (up to 0.9 mg/l)
Oxide (up to 4.0mg/l)
Chloride (up to 4.8 mg/l)
Silicates (up to 35.0 mg/l)

Water de-ironing cartridges are filled with a fine-grained granulate to remove iron ions from the water.

The cartridges should not be used with microbiologically contaminated water or with water of unknown origin.

Helps to normalize the pH value in the water.

With the PFEX de-ironing filters, it may happen that initially granulate dust escapes, which is caused by transport. Let the water run until the water is clear. If necessary, only then use the subsequent filters!
