DP 10 Duo PFEX FA CA 5 mcr - combination filter iron filter filled with two filter media to reduce the iron concentration in the water

The PFEX iron filter cartridge lowers the iron concentration, the hydrogen sulfide content, reduces the metallic taste and odor of the water.

The FE² dissolved in the water is converted to FE³ and removed from the water by the PFEX filter. The PFEX filter uses hydrogen sulfide, in which Fe² is oxidized to Fe³.

manganese (can be used up to a maximum value of 0.1 mg/l)

Water iron removal cartridges are filled with fine-grain granules to remove iron ions from the water.

The cartridges should not be used with microbiologically contaminated water or with water of unknown origin.
