The powerful 3-stage filter housing ensures reliable and long-lasting water treatment. The system combines state-of-the-art filtration technologies for clean water that is odourless and tasteless – ideal for drinking water, well water, and household water applications.

The iron filter cartridge reduces iron concentration, hydrogen sulfide content, and the metallic taste and smell of the water, and helps normalize the water's pH level. The filter does this by oxidizing hydrogen sulfide from Fe² to Fe³.

The activated carbon filter is made of compressed activated carbon and filters contaminants from the water such as chlorine, organic pollutants, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, insecticides, oils and aromas, taste impairments, odour impairments, fine particles and suspended solids.

Water with too high an iron content is the main cause of wear in industrial equipment and household appliances due to deposits of so-called "boiler scale". Iron salts damage textiles washed in such water and irritate the skin. Furthermore, excessively high iron content in the water causes rust stains to form on sanitary fixtures.

The innovative backwash system with spring-loaded filter cartridge. When the flushing valve is opened, the drop in pressure pulls the cartridge downward, cleaning it on the inside as well. A minimum pressure of 1.8 bar is required to ensure backwashing.

• Iron: up to 4.0 mg/l usable

• Manganese: up to 0.1 mg/l usable

• Sulphite: up to 0.9 mg/l

• Oxide: up to 4.0 mg/l

• Chloride: up to 4.8 mg/l

1 x PFEX Iron iron filter (EAN: 4260303250830)
reduces iron concentration, hydrogen sulfide content, metallic taste, water odour, and helps normalize the water's pH level.
Service life: approx. 6 months or approx. 3,000 ltr. (depending on the iron (max. 4 mg/l) and manganese values (max. 0.1 mg/l) and the flow rate)

Note: With PFEX iron removal filters, granulate dust may initially come out, caused by transport. Let the water run until it is clear. Please also observe the maximum values. If necessary, carry out a water analysis before installing the filter to determine the water's iron level.

You will receive the filter system in its original packaging, with filter housing, a housing wrench, a wall bracket, screws, and three filter cartridges.
