The high-performance 3-stage filter housing ensures reliable and long-lasting water treatment. The system combines state-of-the-art filtration technologies for clean, odorless, and tasteless water – ideal for drinking water, well water, and household water applications.

The iron filter cartridge reduces the iron concentration, hydrogen sulfide content, metallic taste, and odor of the water and helps normalize the water's pH value. The filter uses hydrogen sulfide, in which Fe² is oxidized to Fe³.

The activated carbon filter is made of compressed activated carbon and filters contaminants from the water such as chlorine, organic pollutants, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, insecticides, oils and aromas, taste impairment, odor impairment, fine particles and suspended matter.

Water with too high an iron content is the main cause of wear in industrial systems and household appliances due to deposits of so-called "scale". Iron salts damage textiles washed in such water and irritate the skin. In addition, excessively high iron content in the water causes rust stains on sanitary fixtures.

The innovative backflushing system with spring-loaded filter cartridge. When the flush valve is opened, the pressure drop pulls the cartridge downward, cleaning it from the inside as well. A minimum pressure of 1.8 bar is required to ensure backflushing.

• Iron: usable up to 4.0 mg/l

• Manganese: usable up to 0.1 mg/l

• Sulfite: up to 0.9 mg/l

• Oxide: up to 4.0 mg/l

• Chloride: up to 4.8 mg/l

1 x PFEX Iron iron filter (EAN: 4260303250830)
reduces the iron concentration, the hydrogen sulfide content, the metallic taste, the odor of the water and helps normalize the water's pH value.
Service life: approx. 6 months or approx. 3,000 ltr. (depending on the iron (max. 4 mg/l) and manganese values (max. 0.1 mg/l) and the flow rate)

Note: With PFEX iron removal filters, it may happen that granular dust initially comes out, caused by transport. Let the water run until it is clear. Please also note the maximum values. If necessary, carry out a water analysis before installing the filter to determine the iron content of the water.

You will receive the filtration system in its original packaging, with filter housing, a housing wrench, a wall bracket, screws, and three filter cartridges.
