RO Reverse Osmosis Membrane QUICK-CHANGE for the PUR onTop Countertop Reverse Osmosis System

The osmosis membrane is the heart of the production of osmosis water. The PUR onTop will automatically remind you to change the osmosis membrane after approximately 12 months of use.

The osmosis membrane works with a fine laser-cut polymer film through which tap water is pushed at high pressure. In the reverse osmosis system, the contaminated water is pushed through an osmosis membrane with a pressure boosting pump. There, the water molecules are separated from the pollutants and impurities.

The very fine pores of the membrane have a diameter smaller than 0.0001 microns, allowing only the smallest molecules to pass through the membrane. This way, you get pure water.
