PUR Smart BC 10 µm Carbon Block Drinking Water Filter

To turn your tap water into perfect drinking water, often nothing more than an activated carbon block is needed.

Although tap water is well controlled, it is treated with chlorine to prevent germs, so in many cases it is completely sufficient to use an activated carbon filter to remove the chlorine and organic contaminants again. In the form of an activated carbon block, you also have the added security that all solids in the water up to a size of 10 µm are filtered out.

When it comes to water filters, it is not only effectiveness that matters, but also functionality and design. That is why we have further developed our best-selling and most popular PCB filter and made it even better.

The PUR Smart BC is an attractive, easy-to-install filter, equipped with a large quick-change cartridge for up to 10,000 liters of drinking water. Replacing the filter is extremely easy, so the semi-annual filter changes in the future will only take seconds.

The PUR Smart BC can be easily integrated into an existing pipe network via 3/8" connections.

Included in the scope of delivery of each PUR Smart BC is also the connection material for an installation with a separate outlet for the filtered water.
This means the filter can either be connected to an existing 3-way tap or to a new 1-way or multi-way tap.

The filter cartridge of the PUR Smart BC is made of pressed activated carbon and filters these contaminants from the drinking water:
- chlorine
- pesticides
- taste impairments
- odor impairments and fine particles
- insecticides
- solvents
- limescale flakes
- organic contaminants
- the filter also removes oils and aromas

The filter purifies the water to crystal-clear 10 microns.
