QA PRL 10 BIG SX TS - Iron filter cartridge for reducing iron concentration in water

The QA PRL 10 BIG SX TS is filled with two filter media, which reduce the iron concentration (dissolved and solid) in the water, remove hydrogen sulfide, the metallic taste and the smell of the water, and help normalize the water’s pH value.

An iron water filter is used to remove iron and manganese from the water. These contaminants can occur in some water supply systems and can cause various problems, such as discoloration of the water, deposits in pipes and appliances, as well as an unpleasant taste or smell of the water. The immediate result of too high an iron content in the water is the formation of rust stains on sanitary fixtures (bathtubs, sinks).

The filter cartridge is filled with a mixture of pyrolusite and quartz sand granulate with varying grain sizes.
The second layer of the filter (purification) consists of polypropylene fleece and cleans the water of solid contaminants from a size of 10 mcr.
