FA 10 SX sediment winding filter made of polypropylene with 25 µm ensures reliable removal and powerful sediment filters for the removal of sand, dust, rust, and other particles. The particularly uniform winding of the polypropylene thread during production results in a compact cartridge with a large effective filter surface.

The LA 10 SX granulated activated carbon filter is an effective method for purifying water. The increased filter performance is based on the large surface area of the carbon grains, which can adsorb a variety of pollutants from the water. Here is how this process works:

1. Large surfaceGranular activated carbon consists of small, porous grains with a huge surface area. This surface provides many places where pollutants can adhere. The porous structure of the activated carbon grains ensures an even larger surface area.

2. AdsorptionThe process by which pollutants are removed from water is called adsorption. The pollutants are not chemically altered or broken down, but simply adhere to the surface of the activated carbon.

3. Pollutant removalWhen water flows through the activated carbon filter, pollutants such as chlorine, organic compounds, and other impurities adhere to the surface of the activated carbon. This results in clean, purified water on the other side of the filter.

The filters have a lifespan of up to 6 months or 3000-4000 liters, depending on water quality and throughput, and we recommend replacing the filters for hygiene reasons no later than 6 months.
